What are your hours of operations?
We are open Saturdays and Sundays from 9a-5p operating out of Gar Creek at Latta Plantation. Walk-ups are welcome but we highly recommend reservations. We are also open Monday - Friday 5p-8p with reservations only. Hours may vary depending on the weather and the season. Please call for exact hours.
Do you have a store front?
No, we are a mobile unit, we meet you at the lake with all the equipment you will need.
Do we pick up our kayak from you or do you take it to the launch area?
We have a very simple process. You book your rental online and choose your launch location. We will meet you there at the date and time of your rental with all the equipment.
What is your policy for damaged rental equipment?
Any lost or stolen rental property is the financial responsibly of the renter.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, cash, and Venmo.
What do I need to bring with me?
We recommend a bathing suit or comfortable clothing, sunscreen, hat, polarized sunglasses, and water. Bring a towel and dry clothes to change into.
What types of kayaks or paddleboards do you rent?
We rent Pelican sit on top kayaks and a variety of brands of paddleboards.
What are the weight restrictions for your kayaks?
Our single kayaks can hold 275lbs plus equipment. The tandem kayaks have a max capacity of 400lbs, there is seating for 2 adults and a young child if the weight combination allows. Our 11' paddleboards can hold up to 275lbs.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have no cancellation penalties ever if booked through our website if you give a 24 hour notice. You will have 12 months to re-book at another time. No refunds.
What is your inclement weather policy?
No rentals will go out if there is thunder and lightning. We will communicate with all renters and either re-book at a later time and or date or give a full refund.

Do I have to pay to get into Latta Plantation?
No, Latta Plantation is a Meck County park and it is free to enter. If you would like to tour the actual Latta Plantation, there is a fee. Gar Creek is one of 2 kayak access launches, the other one is called North Kayak Access. We primarily operate out of Gar Creek due to the abundance of parking.
Is there a bathroom at the launch site?
Yes, there is a handicap accessible Port-a-Potty.
