Join us for the 1st Annual Spring Paddlefest on Mountain Island Lake! Bring your own SUP, kayak, canoe, boat or whatever means you have! We will launch from Neck Road Boat Launch, there is plenty of parking. We will be celebrating the launch AND the maiden voyage of my equipment for my new Kayak and SUP rental business! I will have a limited amount available, please let me know if you need to rent.
Rental price is $25 for kayaks, includes drop off/pickup, paddle, and life jacket - YOU MUST RSVP with me directly and pay in full in advance. I will only have the exact amount of kayaks & SUPs available that day. I am working with another local kayak rental company so we will have about 50 kayaks and SUP total available.
The plan is to head directly across the lake to a huge sandy beach area where we can swim, hang out, eat some good food, and have some drinks. I am hoping to have a drone photographer out there. More details to be posted. Rain date (or cold weather) will be the following Saturday
